These are paper sculptures of mountains. The mingling of both the real and unreal or "idealistic" mountains symbolize the passage of my best friend, Emily Doran, through the Bardo (in Tibetan tradition, a time when one is searching for their body) Emily died in September 2005. Emily and I shared a love of mountains.
